Baltic Waves

Baltic Waves - breeder Szczepan Marczyński, Poland, 2024

This variety is characterised by large, single flowers, 24–28 cm in diameter, violet-blue with a slightly lighter stripe along the middle of the petals. The tepal edges are irregularly wavy and ruffled, lance-shaped, overlapping. It blooms from mid-May to July, with occasional flowers appearing from September to October. A variety of moderate vigour, reaching up to 180 cm in height. It grows well and flowers most vividly in sunny positions. Recommended for home gardens, by fences, on various free-standing supports or supports placed against building walls, as well as in large containers on terraces and balconies. It looks particularly striking when planted against a background of yellow-coloured deciduous or coniferous shrubs.
