Zosia

A new Polish variety bred by Szczepan Marczyński. A variety with large, single flowers, 12–16 cm in diameter. The flowers are dark red, velvety, turning pinkish during blooming, and consist of 6–8 elliptical petals rounded at the tips. The petals overlap, creating the effect of a semi-double flower. It blooms from mid-May to late June, with occasional flowers appearing in July and August. A variety with moderate growth, reaching up to 150 cm in height. It grows well and blooms most abundantly in sunny and slightly shaded locations. Recommended for home gardens by a sturdy support as a specimen plant, by building walls, on terraces, as well as in large containers on terraces and balconies.
