Living Red Velvet

The main feature of this variety is the pronounced change in flower colour over the course of the season: they are creamy white at first, later white, and in time take on deep red shades. The shrub keeps a compact habit, reaching about 80 cm in height.

The blooming period is from July to September. Thanks to its small size and changing colouration, this variety fits well in small plantings, near borders, and in places where a long decorative period is important.

A site with fertile, sufficiently moist, well-drained soil is suitable for planting. It is advisable to ensure even moisture, as in dry conditions hydrangeas bloom more weakly and look less decorative.
