Hydrangea paniculata Living Touch of Pink

A compact hydrangea variety that blooms abundantly with fragrant flowers gathered in airy inflorescences.

At the beginning of the season, the flowers open white with a light green tint and gradually, over time, partly turn soft pink.

Blooming is long-lasting, for more than 100 days.

Hydrangea Touch of Pink is not recommended for growing in a pot; it is best planted in open ground.

The soil should be moist and well drained.

Easy to care for.

Recommended for small gardens, as a specimen plant and for group plantings.

Winter hardiness to -30°C.

Within 3–4 years, the hydrangea will reach 60 cm in height and 80 cm in width.

The variety was created at the Alex Schoemaker hydrangea nursery (Netherlands).

This sixth-generation family business breeds hydrangeas and is considered a leader in hydrangea development and cultivation.

To achieve a “sea of flowers in the garden” effect, the grower’s recommended ideal planting density is three hydrangeas per square metre.

The variety grows in both full sun and partial shade.

However, like other varieties in the Living Creations collection, hydrangeas grow best in sunny locations, which ensure more abundant flowering, richer petal colour and help the plant maintain its compact habit.
