Description

JEAN DE LA FONTAINE® Meiffable,

Meilland, France

Hybrid tea rose with cupped, very double flowers (about 50 petals), salmon pink (pink with a salmon-coloured centre), 10-12cm in diameter, and a strong rose fragrance. Height 50-60cm, well branched, upright, with good disease resistance. “Grace is more beautiful than beauty itself.” These words of Jean de La Fontaine perfectly describe this rose with its incomparable romantic charm. The rose produces many double flowers throughout the season. Its strong floral fragrance highlights even more the many qualities of this truly exceptional variety. Named in honour of the 400th anniversary of the famous fabulist’s birth in Château-Thierry. JEAN DE LA FONTAINE® has already taken its place among Meilland’s best varieties.
